WEB3 – Improving the quality of political research

Polling has failed to predict change – Levelling up Representational Democracy

UK and US elections are threatened by inaccurate polls, which let mainstream media and Twitter shape political debates. This creates a sense of neglect among the silent majority and fuels identity-driven politics. Biased reporting erodes trust, creates division, and disengages voters from politicians. Well-funded NGOs and corporations also influence the democratic landscape, making regional representation unclear. The result is growing voter absenteeism and a desire for change.

Empowering and involving young and old in a new political discourse

A shared common infrastructure can pave the way for a deeper understanding of the global demands of environmental sustainability, ultimately informing regional and international policy. By ensuring improved communication and accountability, citizens can be shielded from government overreach, while discrimination in bureaucratic systems can be tackled, and the passage of laws and policies can be accelerated.

Distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) secured by blockchain can guarantee secure and transparent voting processes through verifiable credentials, analysable in real-time by computers. Moreover, these technologies can streamline party membership administration, event planning, and funding, while rewarding member participation. Most significantly, they facilitate a reliable dialogue between members, party research organisations, and the community, all on a single platform.

Informed Consent – A Human Wallet paired to your smart phone

National and International citizens can now respond to prescribed questionnaires at any time, from anywhere. They can do this without compromising their anonymity and without fear of discrimination. In due course, AI will support decision making, predicting and guiding desired outcomes. Politicians will be informed, serving a clear mandate, and thus avoiding making convenient baseless assumptions.

How does WEB3 provide the required Trust?

The Political Party controls the network’s terms and conditions. Members and suppliers get verified certification. In future, parties will engage with members directly and share data to aid democratic research. This data will help make informed decisions.

Participation wiil be rewarded and administration more efficient. The ecosystem funds events and boosts engagement. Single sign-on ensures a smooth network experience. Open APIs connect partners, improving membership offers and driving revenue.
